Virtual Appliance

Virtual Appliance A Virtual Appliance is a pre-installed and pre-configured software solution on one or more virtual machines optimized for a specific goal.
A traditional complex software solution needs the installation of many software packages, their configuration, their integration and a general test.
If you choose to use a Virtual Appliance, all this setup work has been made and you can just focus on using the software solution.

Virtual Appliances introduce a new way to distribute software solutions and infrastructural components that rely on virtualization technologies, such as VMware technology.

Our Virtual Appliance rely on Ubuntu Linux and TurnKey Core platform.
They are optimized to run on VMware virtualization platforms, such as VMware Server, VMware Workstation, ESXi Server and ESX Server.
However they can be imported in other virtualization environments such as VirtualBox, Xen, Parallels.
